Terms of Service

Last updated May 2026

⚠ Placeholder — pending legal review. Not binding in this state.

1. Who we are & what Volato is

Volato is an error-tracking service for Next.js applications, operated by Wrenchy SASU (« Volato », « we », « us »). You use the CLI to generate integration source in your app; that source sends error events to our ingest API. You read and resolve those errors from your editor through our agent API, instead of a dashboard.

By creating an account or using Volato, you agree to these terms. If you use Volato on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. Accounts & workspaces

You need an account (email and password, or Google/GitHub sign-in) to use Volato. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and workspace tokens (project keys, agent tokens) secret, and for activity under your account.

Work happens inside a workspace. Anyone you invite to a workspace can read its errors, manage projects and rotate its secrets — the workspace is the unit of trust, so only invite people you trust at that level. The workspace owner is the billing principal.

3. Trial, plans & billing

The paid beta plan is Starter (€9/month, up to 3 projects, 7-day error retention). Larger needs are handled as a custom plan — contact us. Events are uncapped; we charge for project count and retention, not volume.

New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required upfront; you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard before then at no cost.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT, which is applied where required via Stripe Tax. We do not store your card details — only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status. Fees are non-refundable except where French law requires otherwise.

If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your error data is kept for a 7-day grace period (in case you resubscribe) and then deleted; account access reverts accordingly.

4. Your content & our role

« Your content » means the error events, metadata and any data your application sends to Volato. You keep all rights to it. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display it back to you so the service works.

You decide what your app transmits. If you attach personal data to events (for example a user id, email or IP in the error context), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. For personal data in error events we act as your processor; how we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your source code stays yours

Volato is designed so your source code never reaches our servers. The generated integration strips sourcesContent from source maps before upload, and the ingest rejects any map that still carries it. We store file paths and mappings; your agent reads the real source from your own repository.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send unlawful content, or data you have no right to send;
  • attempt to access workspaces, data or accounts that are not yours, or probe, scan or breach our security;
  • disrupt or overload the service, or circumvent plan limits or authentication;
  • resell or sublicense the hosted service without our consent.

The generated integration and CLI are MIT-licensed; these terms cover the hosted service.

7. Availability & changes

Volato is offered on an « as is » and « as available » basis and is under active development; we do not currently offer a guaranteed uptime SLA. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms or to paid features.

8. Warranties & liability

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Volato and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted subject to the retention and grace periods above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protections. Questions: [email protected].
